If you have not already purchased a SenseCAP S2120 lorawan weather station, please see our other post here:

Once your SenseCAP weather station arrives, setup is very straightforward and takes approximately 15 minutes. Instead of the WeatherXM app, you download the SenseCAP app and use it to configure your station using Bluetooth. For the detailed process, follow instructions found in their User Guide here. Be sure to select Helium as the network during setup and set the data uplink interval to 15 minutes!

Next, you’ll want to set up your Telos EVM blockchain address using the guide below:
https://decentralizedcreator.com/add-telos-evm-network-to-metamask/

As a last step of the setup, you’ll need to provide KandaWeather with your Weather Station’s LoRaWAN keys, so that they can connect your station to Helium’s backend. Send an email to kandaweather@gmail.com with the following:
- AppEUI
- DevEUI
- AppKey
- Telos EVM address (starts with 0x)
- Picture of deployed weather station

Finally, we’ll send you a confirmation email and a link to where you can view your station’s weather data directly on the blockchain and collect your daily weather rewards!

FAQ :

How is the “Lock-In” Rate method financially sustainable?
Even though each station’s “Lock-In” rate will never change, the “Lock-In” Rates for future customers is variable (and will likely decrease). For example, we are offering a batch of 50 stations $0.60/day max rewards “Lock-In” Rate, but the next batch of 50 will have a much lower “Lock-In” Rate (perhaps 30% reduced).

KandaWeather is a block producer (BP) on the Telos blockchain, so we have good flow of Telos tokens for distribution. The new rate amounts for upcoming batches of stations will depend on our finances at the time.

Where can we find the current “Lock-In” Rate?
The current “Lock-In” Rate for each level of data quality is always viewable on-chain. Also, join our Discord and view Announcements section for the “Lock-In” Rate.
